ARBITRACE - UNCOVERING NO RISK HOME BUSINESS

PROFITS ON DEMAND !

By Daegan Smith

Some may be familiar with the term arbitrage, but let me
define it here:

Arbitrage is the practice of taking advantage of a state of imbalance between two (or possibly more) markets.Combinations of matching deals are struck to exploit the imbalance, the profit being the difference between the market prices. So what does this mean in simple English? If you can find a situation where you can pay a smaller amount for a resource from one market and then turn around and sell that identical resource to another market for a larger guaranteed price then you are taking advantage of the imbalance between the two markets and realize a no risk profit.

Sound pretty cool right? I mean, wouldn't it be great to start a business where all you had to due was buy from one market and then sell to another at a higher price and make a guaranteed profit? What if you found a product that you could buy for $20 dollars and then you could turn around and sell it for $25 anytime you want? That's the life if you asked me!

But, I have to be blunt with you here, if it was that easy everyone would be doing it. In the real world, to make a risk free profit from an arbitrage you have to be able to spot an opportunity before the next guy does. So, what I want to do is give you some things to look for to spot arbitrage situations so that you can take advantage of them in the future. Knowing what to look for is half the battle, so here what you need to keep an eye out for ...

The Conditions for Arbitrage: (arbitrage is possible when any one of these two conditions is not met)

- The same asset sells for the same price in different markets. (So, if you find and assets that sells for different prices in different markets then you have uncovered an arbitrage situation to that you may profit from.)

- Two assets with the same cash flow must sell at the same price in different markets ( So, if you can find a cash flow to purchase at a discounted rate you can again profit risk free from this imbalance)

Now these are pretty simple concepts to understand, but uncovering them in the real world and even in your own home
business situation can be a little bit trickier to accomplish. I want to take you through a few real world examples to help you get comfortable with the application of the concepts listed above. ( I want to try to help you to think outside of the box so as you read the examples ask yourself why they qualify as arbitrage according the two rules listed.)

Example #1:

Suppose I were to purchase a house worth $200,000 from a person who was about to be foreclosed upon for $7,000 in cash and then simply took over payment of the mortgage whic had $120,00 left to be paid off then I turned around and sold the property for $10,000 below full market value. I would make a risk free profit of $63,000 for simply taking advantage of this situation. Why is this arbitrge?

Example #2:

Suppose that the exchange rates in London are £5 = $10 =¥1000 and the exchange rates in Tokyo are ¥1000 = £6 = $10.
I could convert $10 to £6 in Tokyo and convert that £6 into $12 in London, for a profit of $2. Why is this arbitrage?

Example #3:

Hopefully this one will hit a little closer to home for all you internet marketers. Suppose I found a website for sale that created a cash flow of $700 a month and I bought this website for huge discount at $3,000 from a "motivated" seller that needed an immediate lump sum of cash to pay off some sort of large debt and I then turned around and sold the website still at a discount for $7,000. I would make a risk free profit of $4,000 dollars. Suppose I chose to keep the website as a cash flow generator, after 5 months I would be into pure profit again. Why does this situation classify as arbitrage?

Example #4:

Here's an example of arbitrage on a smaller scale. As a network marketer, leads are an essential part of your business. Whether you purchase them or generate them on your own you need leads. The bad thing is most leads go to waste because, for whatever reason, most leads are not interested in your particular home business. What do you do with all those "dead leads"?

Suppose you opted to buy 100 leads on a monthly basis for a price of $100. On average, 95 percent of those leads won't
be interested in your home business. What if you could find a buyer that would buy them from you at $2 a piece? You would end up making $90 dollars a month on your "dead leads". Not only would you get people joining you in your network marketing business, but you would profit anyway. Why is this arbitrage?

If you're a network marketer this is the most powerful way to make a risk free profit from your business when your are
first starting out. I have not disclosed this secret technique to the public yet, but if I feel the market demand is great enough I will create a step by step guide to help others do what I have described above. (If you would like more information you may email me directly at daegroups@yahoo.com)

Conclusion:

There are opportunities to for you to make risk free profits everyday. All you really need to do is know what to look for
and then take the time to look for it. Hopefully I've give you a powerful head start!

MAKE YOUR WEBSITE PROFITABLE IN 24 HOURS ......OR LESS !

By Sean Proske

Google has indexed over 8,168,684,336 web pages. That means there are a lot of websites out there competing for traffic, and for the dollars that will result from that traffic. The Internet is a very profitable place for some, but the vast majority of webmasters are barely making enough money to justify the expense of maintaining a website at all. The high cost of quality advertising is prohibitive for most webmasters, and without the ability to generate traffic, there's little or no profit.

Fortunately, there is an easy and inexpensive way to promote a website, and get better results than the most flashy and expensive ad campaign would ever yield. Let's strip away all the commercialism, peel back all the layers, and look at the World Wide Web for what it really is. The World Wide Web was created, and exists today, not for the purpose of making you money, but to facilitate an exchange of information with others.

Imagine for example, that you run a website that sells a product like an electric grill. Now imagine trying to sell that grill by running banner ads or using some other conventional type of online advertising. Perhaps a few orders will come in when people who happen to already know. they want that type of grill see your banner ad and they also happen to be ready to buy at the time they see your ad. Perhaps if the ads are run long enough and in highly visible locations on the right sites, enough orders will come in to justify the expense of running the ad ... if you're lucky. In order to have a real chance of success you would probably have to spend thousands of dollars on advertising before seeing a single order come in. But, what if you were to embed your ad in information that people who would want your product are actively seeking? What if there was a fast and easy way to distribute that information to millions of people for free?

Let's look at a different approach to marketing that same electric grill ... writing articles for e-zines. There are thousands of e-zines out there covering every imaginable topic. Preparing and distributing fresh content on a regular basis is a difficult task, so most e-zine publishers appreciate relevant article submissions. Article submissions cut down on the publisher's workload, and reduce or even eliminate the need to keep writers on the payroll ... something that isn't possible for small, independently run e-zines. Furthermore high quality content is essential for publishers to build and maintain a subscriber base, and that is something that is necessary if potential advertisers are to perceive value in placing ads in any given e-zine. Many e-zine publishers rely on article submissions, and authors depend on the exposure they receive when their articles are published. This is a win-wi situation. The e-zine publisher receives fresh content that can be published for free, and the author receives free distribution of his or her article to a very large readership.

Continuing with our example, to promote a product such as an electric grill, you would focus on e-zines related to topics such as cooking, healthy eating, weight loss, etc. E-zines on any given topic will often have a collective circulation of millions of readers. Imagine the potential for profit in writing an article about healthier eating that discussed the advantages of using a grill such as the one you're selling. If that article was to be published in just a few e-zines with a collective subscriber base of one million people, you would be getting free advertising to a very large number of highly targeted prospective buyers for free. Your article would both make those people aware of your grill, and make them realize they actually do want such a grill by describing in detail a way to use it. to satisfy a want or need that compelled them to read the article in the first place, e.g. weight loss. Your article would be building value in owning and using such a grill.

People naturally want to use the same tools the experts use, and they also want to make purchases from businesses that have some credibility. The result of authoring an article will be that those readers will not only want an electric grill, they'll want the specific electric grill mentioned in your article, and even more importantly ... they're going to want to buy one from you. After all, you're the author and therefore an expert. Such an article can be as simple as a recipe that lists the grill you sell in the "what you'll need" section. Even subtly instructing people to preheat that specific model of grill to a certain temperature could potentially be very effective. While you can mention various products and services in your article, which you may be trying to sell, it is extremely important to focus on providing useful information. People will not read through a one to two thousand word sales letter, and you'll lose credibility if the focus is on anything other than providing useful information.

Also, e-zine publishers are not going to publish a blatant advertisement for free. If your article looks too much like an ad, any publisher you submit it to will thank you for the submission and send you their ad rates. Paying to advertise in an e-zine with a decent number of subscribers isn't a bad idea, but if your goal is to write an article and have it published for free, then the one and only objective you should have when you set out to write your article is to be helpful. A good rule of thumb in determining whether your article is too commercial to be considered an article as opposed to an ad would be to look over what you've come up with and ask yourself honestly if someone could benefit from the information it contains without having to buy your product or service. In keeping with our example, if someone could use a grill other than the one you're selling to prepare a recipe in your article then it's an article. If not, then it's an ad.

In exchange for submitting an article that can be reprinted for free, you do get something that is even better than an ad. At the bottom of your article, you may include an "Author Resource Box" which will be published with your article by the e-zines in lieu of paying you royalties for the use of your article. An "Author Resource Box" is typically three to five lines about the author of the article, the author's business, website, URL, etc. You can see an example of a resource box at the bottom of this article. The less ad-like the resource box is, the better. Your resource box will let people know how to contact you, and if you've written a very good article that is full of useful information then it is extremely likely that people will contact you for more information. Leave the sales pitch out of your article and resource box. The place for the pitch is on your website. After reading a well written article, people will visit your website and many will buy something from you.

Once an e-zine publishes your article, which can sometimes happen just hours after you submit it; if the e-zine has a large enough circulation, you will notice an immediate and substantial increase in your website's traffic and you may even begin to turn a profit within just 24 hours. A few weeks later you'll also notice a very significant indirect benefit from having an articlepublished.Almost every e-zine publisher maintains a website, and they will usually maintain an archive of past issues there.

The next time Google indexes the e-zine's website, it will pick up a copy of your article. Your resource box will of course contain your URL which will serve to increase your link popularity, and your article will also be stacked with relevant keywords that people would likely use as search terms when looking for a product or service such as the one you provide. If your article is posted on enough sites, this will improve your page rank, bump your site up in the search results, and send a great deal of search engine traffic your way. Any type of product or service can be promoted by submitting articles to e-zines. Whether you're selling software, or you're a bookkeeper, attorney, realtor, web-hosting provider, or you're selling an electric grill as in our example; you can promote your products and services very effectively. There is always something you can tell people that they didn't know before that would benefit them in some way like being healthier, saving money, making more money, working more efficiently, and so on.

Writing an article is surprisingly easy when you write what you know. If you are selling a certain type of product or service then you should know a thing or two about it that other people don't. You don't have to write something that would be Pulitzer Prize material. It goes without saying that you should try to watch your grammar, spelling, and punctuation and try to make it flow naturally. But if all you can manage is a few hundred words in a simple conversational style, you can still put together a great article that will get published as long as it contains useful information, and it's put together in a way that is easy to understand.

Where things become more difficult is in submitting an article to a significant number of E-zines that are relevant to the topics your article covers, and the product or service you sell. Not every e-zine you submit to will be interested in your article, so it is a bit of a numbers game. There are lots of e-zine directories on the web where you can search by topic in order to compile a list of appropriate publications. Searching Google or any other search engine for "E-zine Directory" would be a great place to start. You might also use the search engines to help you find forums and article announcement mailing lists that e-zine publishers subscribe to. Finding those e-zines, making sure they're appropriate to submit to, and getting your article in the hands of the publishers can be a daunting task. However, software that automates the entire process of article submission such as Article Cast, which is available from http://www.bytefoundry.com can make this task much more manageable.

Within days of submitting your article you can easily reach millions of likely buyers who want information about products and services like yours. There is however, a limit to the number of articles one can write, and high quality e-zines won't publish articles from the same author repeatedly in consecutive issues. Therefore, in addition to submitting articles for publication, you may want to place ads in e-zines. Such ads are usually inexpensive compared to other types of advertising, and they can be extremely effective. There is also very little risk in spending money on this type of advertising, particularly when you advertise in an e-zine that has published an article you've written and you know what type of response to expect in advance of paying for ad space.

Paid advertising in e-zines is a great way to supplement your articles by maintaining awareness of what you offer long after your article has been published. It's also nice to reward e-zine publishers for using the articles you submit. E-zine articles and paid e-zine advertising complement each other very well. Whether you write articles, use paid advertising, or both ... using e-zines to promote your products and services can make your website profitable in 24 hours ... or less, and keep it that way for a long time to come.

TECHNOLOGY

EFFECTIVE OR IRRITATING : THE USE OF POP WINDOWS

IN INTERNET MARKETING

Andrew Denyer

A few years ago, pop-up windows were all the rage in internet marketing. It seemed that every time one opened a web page they would be bombarded with offers for this or that. It had gotten to the point where surfing the Internet was almost like playing a video game; when the ads would pop-up one would try and close them out before another one came. This is precisely why we have seen the decline in the use of pop-up windows on the Internet today; surfers simply do not even look at the pop-ups anymore. They close the windows out before even reading the ad. Very often, a surfer will even leave your site if there are too many pop-up ads. They simply do not want the hassle of closing those windows while trying to obtain the information that your site has to offer. This information, while valuable, is not as valuable as the surfers time. Studies have shown however, that even with these set backs, pop-up windows are still an effective method of Internet marketing.

Is there some way that pop-up windows can be less irritating and still be effective? Yes!

What if the pop ad were seen upon exiting your site instead of entering?

This would allow the surfer to obtain the information that they need from your site, feeling that they were able to come and go quickly without being hassled by other ads and offers all the while making the surfer happy. You have left the surfer with a positive attitude and therefore are more likely to respond to the pop advertisement. This is being accomplished more and more by using what is being called pop-under windows. When the surfer comes to your site, the ad is opened discretely behind the your web page. Then, upon leaving your site, after obtaining all the information that they need , will see the ad and therefore be more likely to respond. Since the surfer has the information, he has achieved his objective and is now open to do other things; ideally respond to the pop under advertisement.

Not all pop-windows are created equally. There are some things that you can do to make your pop-windows, whether
pop-up or pop-under more effective.

* The pop-window should be easy to “escape” from. If the surfer does not want to see the add, but has a hard time closing it out, they will likely become frustrated and could leave your site all together. You should either use a button to that will allow the surfer to close the window or be sure that the “x” is easily visible.

* Another good idea is to use a script that utilizes cookies. Cookie will prevent pop-windows from overloading the surfer since you can decide the frequency of the pop-windows, rather than each time a page is opened. Also be sure that there is no more than one pop-window per page.

When creating a pop-window, you will be asked to fill out short information form, select the length of cookies, and choose the layout of the pop-window. When choosing the design of the pop-window, you can increase the effectiveness by creating a large headline that includes benefits that will be most appealing to the customer.

You should also consider using incentives and lastly do not ask the customer to read a long and drawn out advertisement. Keep the message simple yet powerful and your pop-ads will be sure to generate profits for your site.
